The Challenge
Funtivity sought to monetize its product as a gamified learning platform for corporate training.
Funtivity was successful as a free gaming application on Zoom and Microsoft Teams, with many companies using the tool as an icebreaker and team-building activity. But the company wanted to monetize its product and shift Funtivity Learning in a new direction — gamified training for corporations with remote employees who routinely complete compliance.
Our goal was to find a new market fit for Funtivity and provide them with assets that reflected their refreshed positioning.

The Deliverables
Our job was to reposition Funtivity through a new messaging house and home page.
Our first task was to understand the market for corporate training and learning software. To accomplish this we analyzed competitors within the space and evaluated Funtivity’s strengths and target customers. This produced insights into the company’s place within the market and areas of differentiation, which include its emphasis on live and synchronous learning, its position as a complementary solution, and its low entry barrier with AI-driven content.
Utilizing the insights gained from our research, we crafted a new positioning and messaging house for Funtivity that reflected its strengths and the direction in which the company is headed. The in-depth messaging house provides a foundation for Funtivity’s new product marketing strategy and a basis for the new home page, which now has a defined target audience, clear and concise messaging, and alignment with the customer journey.
