We partnered for 7 months on Product Marketing, Branding & Website, and Sales Enablement
The Challenge
Floodbase needed a clearer way to talk about their platform with a brand and website that better reflected their breakthrough technology.
The first month of our engagement was focused on strategic workshops like Personas, Jobs to Be Done, and Product Positioning & Messaging. These workshops clarified whom Floodbase was for, the value it provided to different customer segments, and its points of differentiation in the market. This initial strategy work allowed us to drive internal alignment across the team and kick off their brand redesign.
With phase 1 complete, we executed on rebuilding and redesigning Floodbase’s website to reflect their new positioning, messaging, and brand in time for their fundraising announcement. Once the website launched and the funding announcement was made, we focused on creating critical sales enablement, crafting additional webpages, and running additional workshops for new product offerings.

The Deliverables
Olivine delivered a new brand and website and multiple pieces of sales enablement in close collaboration with Floodbase.
Over the course of a seven-month engagement, the Olivine Product Marketing and Design teams helped Floodbase position and launch a new flood insurance product accompanied by an all new name, logo, and redesigned website, as well as refine product marketing for the company’s existing products. We delivered foundational Personas, Jobs to Be Done, and Positioning & Messaging guides that informed the creation of nine new web pages, three new sales decks, and a host of sales enablement materials including internal battlecards and seven new customer-facing two-pagers.
Personas & Jobs to Be Done
Hosted foundational workshops with stakeholders in marketing, sales, and leadership to align on ideal customer profiles and buyer motivations.
Positioning & Messaging
Developed core positioning and messaging to introduce Floodbase’s product offering to a new market.

Designed a fresh logo, color palette, typography, and visual style to accompany Floodbase’s announcement of a new name and Series A funding.
