Join our seasoned, remote team of product marketers to further develop your product marketing and copywriting skills by working on dynamic, ever-changing projects with top clients in the B2B SaaS space.

Olivine is a collective of senior product marketers, copywriters, designers, and project managers. We combine deep product marketing knowledge, and a great process around positioning, messaging, and design to help SaaS companies tell brand, product, and customer stories that grow revenue.
What's the opportunity?
Olivine is seeking to expand our team by bringing on board 1-3 part-time freelance Product Marketing Associates to contribute to client projects. This is a truly unique opportunity to work with a team of seasoned product marketers, content marketers, and designers and get exposed to a wide variety of brands, people, and projects. You'll collaborate closely with the Olivine team as well as client stakeholders at top companies across sales, marketing, sales enablement, and product. You will support Olivine by contributing to content, assets, and materials, including marketing strategy workshops, sales collateral, product landing pages, product announcements, internal content, and more.
The Product Marketing Associate role is perfect for someone who is earlier in their career either currently freelancing or wants to start freelancing with the benefit of a team to connect with and learn from.
What will you be doing?
As a Product Marketing Associate Contractor, some of the things you will contribute to:
Attend client workshops to take notes and compile inputs for deliverables. Workshops tend to be on brand positioning, personas, Jobs to Be Done, product messaging, etc.
Develop customer-facing sales and marketing materials for clients. This could include landing page content, sales pitch decks, personas, customer stories, blog posts, email copy.
Copywriting and proofreading for marketing collateral.
Conduct research on competitive landscape and product marketing best practices.
Persona validation research
What skills/traits do I need?
Self-starter attitude and a bias toward action
Accountability for completing work on time
Serious attention to detail
Eager to learn, receive constructive feedback, and try new things
Passion for technology and a general understanding of how technical products work
A storyteller who loves finding unique ways to communicate the value of brands
Bonus points if you are comfortable with Zoom, Asana, Google Docs/Slides/Sheets, Loom, Miro, and Slack.
What experience do I need?
1-3 years experience in product marketing, copywriting, or sales roles. Bonus points if you’ve worked in B2B SaaS.
How can we work together?
Availability: starting as early as June, we’d need 10-30 hours a week.
When you work is mostly flexible, but you’d need to be able to attend team and client meetings during weekdays in PST/EST timezones.
We’d start with a 1-month trial period and if it’s a good mutual fit, we’d expand your hours and term.
