SoSafe

  • What they do: SoSafe empowers organizations to scale agile awareness programs that build a security culture.

  • Category: B2B SaaS, Security Awareness Training, Growth Stage.

  • Company News: SoSafe raised $73M in their Series B this year. They also announced their expansion into four new European regions, including Benelux, the Nordics, Southern Europe, and the U.K./Ireland.

In close collaboration with the SoSafe team, Olivine delivered key product marketing deliverables and consulted on major milestones during a high-growth period for SoSafe (Series B, a complete rebrand, and a new website). As part of the partnership, Olivine worked with the SoSafe team to redesign their Series B investor deck, which helped them raise $73M, delivered a new sales pitch deck, created fresh copy for their new website, and applied the brand refresh to sales collateral and enablement materials.

Heartland

  • What they do: Heartland is a POS system provider that offers commercial management accounting point-of-sale solutions for all business sectors.

  • Category: Payment Systems, Publicly Traded (acquired by Global Payments in 2015).

  • Company News: Parent company, Global Payments, announced Josh Whipple as the new CFO and entered a definitive agreement to Acquire EVO Payments.

Olivine worked with Heartland’s product and marketing teams to uplevel their positioning and messaging across several of Heartland’s small business solutions. Throughout a six-month partnership, Olivine delivered foundational product marketing strategy by aligning on core personas and jobs to be done across products, produced fresh copy for different product web pages, and created new sales enablement materials including, a sales pitch deck, customer-facing one-pagers, and sales outbound emails.

Safer

  • What they do: Safer is the only all-in-one, CSAM detection, removal, and reporting solution to help stop child sexual abuse material from spreading across any digital platform. Built by experts in child safety technology, Safer’s product is for any platform with an upload button. It was created and brought to market by Thorn (Ashton Kutcher’s non-profit), whose sole mission is to build technology that defends children from sexual abuse.

  • Category: Non-Profit SaaS, Early Stage.

  • Company News: Thorn won the End Violence Partnership funding round. They are joining forces with 18 other organizations working to keep children safe online.

Olivine worked directly with Safer’s key stakeholders to produce a multi-year marketing plan. From there, our teams collaborated on priorities of execution to deliver a site map with page suggestions for a website refresh, new positioning and messaging for the Safer’s website, a Personas and JTBD deck, a buyer journey survey, brand messaging style guide, and sales one-pagers.

TrueNorth

  • What they do: TrueNorth is a full-service trucking platform for truckers that want to take control of their business.

  • Category: Trucking Industry, Growth Stage.

  • Company News: This year TrueNorth launched a brand new website with new product offerings.

Olivine worked with TrueNorth to position a brand-new product offering to a new customer segment. After defining TrueNorth’s core personas, our teams worked hand-in-hand to create new positioning and messaging to be applied to TrueNorth’s homepage and two new product pages. Our design team also redesigned a handful of website pages. This work resulted in a better customer experience and faster lead flow.

ConductorOne

  • What they do: ConductorOne is an identity security platform that provides modern access control for tech-forward companies.

  • Category: Identity Security, Early Stage.

  • Company News: ConductorOne raised $15M of Series A funding to continue their vision of building easy-to-use identity security products.

Olivine worked with ConductorOne to provide foundational product marketing expertise, including GTM and positioning and messaging support. Acting as an expansion of the ConductorOne GTM team, Olivine worked to solidify personas, create strong positioning and messaging, and build out 9 product and solution pages for the ConductorOne website, along with top-of-funnel blog content, and best practice guides for users.

Smallstep

  • What they do: Smallstep is an open-source toolkit to automate certificate administration and secure infrastructures.

  • Category: Security Industry, Early Stage.

  • Company News: Smallstep raised $26 Million Series A for their Automated Certificate Management Platform.

Olivine worked with Smallstep to plan, organize, and execute the public launch of their certificate management project. We worked together to create a long-term GTM strategy, several new solution pages, and supporting sales collateral, including a new sales pitch deck, and solution-specific slide inserts. 

 

Safegraph

  • What they do: Safegraph builds and maintains data to help accelerate machine learning and AI. 

  • Category: AI/ML, Analytics, & Data. Early Stage.

  • Company News: Safegraph teamed up with CoreLogic to improve geospatial identification capabilities leveraging Placekey, the free and universal standard identifier for any physical place.

Olivine worked with the Safegraph team to create stronger positioning and messaging for their website. After a series of collaborative workshops, Olivine created a new positioning and messaging guide for Safegraph, and applied it to their website pages. This resulted in three brand new written and designed web pages and a handful of improved pages across the website.

 

Topl

  • What they do: Topl is a blockchain-powered traceability solution for sustainability-driven companies and their supply chains.

  • Category: Crypto & FinTech, Early Stage.

  • Company News: Topl blockchain raises $15M on Series A to help track social impact initiatives.

Olivine helped Topl launch a new website with fresh and differentiated messaging after raising their Series A. We produced two new solution pages and seven new industry pages, along with a branded Personas and Jobs To Be Done deck along with a comprehensive Product Positioning and Messaging guide.

 

Benefex

  • What they do: Benefex builds workplace technology that makes an exceptional experience at work. With their technology, OneHub, they bring together employee benefits software, reward & recognition tech, wellbeing programs, and workplace communications, so your employees have a home for everything at work.

  • Category: Health Care & Benefits, Early Stage.

  • Company News: Benefex acquired Wrkit and announced they’re opening a Dublin office.

Olivine crafted brand-new messaging and website copy to support Benefex’s repositioning into a platform. Through workshops and close collaboration, Olivine helped drive internal alignment on foundational positioning and messaging elements for the first time ever, like product descriptions and value propositions.

 

Cloud to Street

  • What they do: Cloud to Street is the leading flood mapping platform designed to protect the world’s most climate-vulnerable communities. 

  • Category: Research, Environmental, Early Stage.

  • Company News: Bessie Schwarz, Cloud to Street CEO & co-founder was named to Insider's Climate Action 30 list.

 

Equals

  • What they do: Equals is the only spreadsheet with built-in connections to any database, versioning, and collaboration for analysts.

  • Category: Data & analytics. Early Stage.

  • Company News: Equals raised $16M in Series A funding to continue their work on building a next-generation spreadsheet. 

Equals was looking for a better way to communicate feature launches to their core personas. The Olivine team worked to solidify their core audience, and then worked with Equals to produce new integration pages for their website, a nurture sequence, and a freshly designed monthly newsletter template. We also repurposed their impressive video series they produced called “Insights into Action,” and other long-form content into podcast episodes for wider distribution.

Patch

  • What they do: Patch creates the technology infrastructure needed to unify scalable climate action. Patch can be integrated into any product experience to enable transaction-level emissions estimates for a wide range of activities and create a seamless carbon credit purchase experience. 

  • Category: Non-Profit & Environmental. Early Stage.

  • News: Patch raised $55 million in Series B to spur businesses to take climate action by making it easier to strike deals in the voluntary carbon market.

Patch was looking for fresh messaging that more clearly positioned their product’s value in comparison to their competitors and other “green” software solutions. We leveraged our Product and Brand Messaging and Positioning guides respectively to work through the nuances required to get it right.

 

Tigris Data

  • What they do: Tigris Data is a modern, scalable backend for building real-time websites and apps. 

  • Category: Software Development, Early Stage.

  • News: Tigris Data is now in Beta. You can get on the waitlist here.

Tigris Data partnered with Marketplace consultant, Megan Liken on Product Marketing and GTM Strategy to produce new messaging for website pages, email campaigns, blogs, and other marketing collateral to be used at conference events and their beta launch. Now in phase 2 the partnership is focusing on content strategy, building brand awareness, acquiring new beta users, and capturing feedback from beta users.

Twilio

  • What they do: Twilio powers personalized interactions and trusted global communications to connect with customers.

  • Category: Technology, Information and Internet. Public Enterprise.

  • Company News: Twilio Engage, the data-first customer engagement solution, is now generally available.

Olivine is partnering with the Twilio team to support upcoming feature launches and go-to-market strategy. Watch this space!

Padex

  • What they do: Padex is a new pre-launch startup in the Document AI space.

  • Category: Software Development, Early Stage.

  • News: Padex launched their first product, Patent Analyzer, to beta.

Olivine developed Padex’s brand identity, stylized product shots for the website, and their sales pitch deck.
